Dr. Loeschke
Dr. Lindsey Loeschke (pronounced like Husky with an “L”) was born and raised in Broomfield, Colorado. She grew up with a love of the outdoors and learning. When she wasn’t camping with her family or enjoying the mountains she had her head in the books studying to pursue a career that helped people. She knew she wanted to pursue dentistry after recounting excellent experiences at her childhood pediatric dentist, like playing frogger in the waiting room and striving to be in the “rainbow club” at 6 month visits. She earned her Bachelors in Biomedical Science in 2014 at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. There she also developed an appreciation of coffee and a love of running, completing a handful of half marathons including the beautiful Horsetooth Half Marathon. She continued on to earn her Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2018 at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in Aurora, CO. During dental school she was very fortunate to receive a 3 year Health Professions Scholarship from the Air Force and commissioned into the Air Force as a General Dentist. During this time she also completed her first (and likely only) full marathon— Denver’s Colfax Marathon. After dental school she completed a one year Advanced Education in
General Dentistry Residency at Andrews AFB in Maryland. Along with enjoying experiencing living in a new place, she was blessed to meet her husband Michael at this time as well. She then practiced as a General Dentist for 3 years at MacDill AFB in Tampa, FL. During this time she could not deny her initial calling to pediatric dentistry and that living in Florida was beginning to grow on her. After completing her service commitment to the Air Force she attended the University of Florida Pediatric Dental Residency in Naples, FL and earned her Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Lindsey is excited to join the Panhandle Pediatric Dental Team and serve the community of Fort Walton Beach. When she isn’t fixing tiny teeth you can find her collecting shells at the beach with her husband, crocheting toys and hats for her nieces and nephew, or relieving stress with yoga and running.
